11 Billion Reasons To Get To Know Your Farmer

Roundup Lawsuit Update March 2024 – Forbes AdvisorPesticides and other chemicals in food - Better Health ChannelClass action lawsuits against Monsanto / Bayer have awarded claimants more than $11 billion in damages for cancers caused from using Roundup (glyphosate). It is one of the most commonly used chemicals in crop production. It causes non-Hodgkin's lymphoma. A study showed that up to 80% of Americans tested positive for glyphosate in urine samples. Ever since Monsanto's patent on Roundup expired, it is now being produced by many different companies under many different brand names. It's gotten cheaper and even more widespread.I don't know about you, but I'm getting rather tired of giant corporations trying to kill me. Whether it's tobacco companies trying to convince me that I'd be so much sexier with lung cancer, pharmaceutical companies lobbying the government to try to force me to take a shot of MRNA, or agricultural companies trying to suppress evidence of the harmful effects of the chemicals they supply. As recently as 5 years ago I was just like 80% of the population. I kind of knew that there was bad things in our food, but without knowing where to turn for food I could trust, I generally made my choices based on the lowest price. I didn't really want to think too deeply about any of that.In 2020, things got shaken up for us all. We could no longer count on the grocery stores to always be there with a ready supply of cheap food for us. I decided to start producing my own meat for my family by buying a herd of bison. I wanted to have an uninterruptable supply of meat, and I wanted to produce that meat as healthy as I possibly could. That means no sprays on our land, the hay I buy isn't sprayed, and I don't feed them grain which is almost universally sprayed. My transformation was a miraculous collision between need and opportunity. I no longer fly around in helicopters rescuing people. God had other plans for me. I've now grown my herd and ranch to the point that I am able to offer other people the opportunity to transition to meat that is actually healthy. If you would like to fast forward your journey to better health, click here to place a deposit on your share of a bison for delivery this fall.
